The former industrial territory was overlayed by an orthogonal grid with a similar step of the development of St. Petersburg.
The directions of the grid continues the directions of the existing development.
The meeting point of two directions is the open public space crowded with life.
Some industrial buildings have been revitalized for the public spaces, metal structures have been preserved, strengthened and adapted to modern functions, that allowed to preserve the spirit, history of the site, the atmosphere, the authentic, the industrial feel.
